How Does it Work?

Provide us with your basic information (demographics, allergies, and your insurance)

Tell us about all the medications and supplements you are taking.

We will transfer your prescriptions, synchronize, and organize them in the packets.

Every month, we get your Beaumont Med Pack done. We'll include your inhalers, creams, or as needed medications depending on your needs. All will be ready for pick up or we will deliver right to your door.

What is the Beaumont Med Pack?

Beaumont Med Pack is adherence packaging that organizes your prescription medications into individual pouches. Each pouch is labeled with the medication, day, date, and time to be taken. It is simple and convenient to keep track of your medication with the Beaumont Med Pack system.

What medications can be filled in the Beaumont Med Pack?

Your routine maintenance prescription medications can be packaged in Beaumont Med Pack. In addition, Beaumont Med Pack can accommodate over-the-counter (OTC) medications, nutraceuticals, supplements or probiotics that our pharmacist may recommend. Our pharmacy team will discuss your medications with you and determine what will be packaged. We cannot package the following medications: soluble medications and certain medications that the FDA recommends be dispensed in original packaging.

I only take one medication. Can I still have it packaged in Beaumont Med Pack?

Yes, we can pack any number of medications in Beaumont Med Pack. Cost may vary. See our staff for details.

How do I receive my Beaumont Med Pack prescriptions?

You can pick up your Beaumont Med Pack at Beaumont Pharmacy or we deliver it to you.

What will I receive each time with the Beaumont Med Pack?

On initial enrollment, you will receive a dispenser box that will hold your roll of Beaumont Med Pack. Each time, you will receive a new roll of medications in a new dispenser box. Your roll comes with “header” pouches that include the full list of your medications in the packets.

What happens if I get a new medication in the middle of the pack?

Your new prescription will be filled with only enough medication to get to your next refill date, and then will be packaged with the rest of your medications in the Beaumont Med Pack each time going forward..

All my medications are filled on different days. Can I use the Beaumont Med Pack?

Yes. We will work with your insurance provider and physician to get all your prescriptions on the same schedule. We will contact you and coordinate the first date for your Beaumont Med Pack. Your medications will be synchronized after enrollment. Following the initial period, your prescriptions will all be filled together in the Beaumont Med Pack.

How will I know when to take my medication?

Each packet is labeled with the medication day, date, and time to be taken to improve convenience and reduce confusion and the risk of medication errors. Tear off the packet for the correct date and time and take the medications in the packet.

Can I get my three month supply of prescriptions filled in the Beaumont Med Pack packaging?

We will work with you to determine the best day supply for your specific medications.

What should I do if I forget to take a packet or miss a dose?

As with most medications, it may depend on how long it has been since you should have taken your dose. You should contact our pharmacist if you have any questions.

Where should I store my Beaumont Med Pack dispenser box?

As with all medications, they should be stored out of reach of children. The Beaumont Med Pack is not child-safe packaging. Do not store box in hot or humid conditions. Keep in a dry spot and out of direct sunlight.

I have my prescriptions filled by mail order or VA; can I have my prescriptions filled in the Beaumont Med Pack?

You can bring us all or part of your medications to pack for you. Cost may vary. See our staff for details.

How do I pay for my Beaumont Med Pack prescriptions?

You may pay by cash, check, debit, or credit card. We can securely store your credit/debit card on file.
